The Cluster "Integrated Climate System Analysis and Prediction" (CliSAP) has successfully bridged the gap between natural sciences, economics and humanities.
In a combined effort, the University and its partners analyze natural and anthropogenetic climate change in order to develop reliable scenarios for the future.
CliSAP is funded by the German Research Foundation within the framework of the Excellence Initiative launched by the federal government and the federal states.
Already at the current stage, CliSAP is closely affiliated with the Center for Earth System Research and Sustainability (CEN) at Universität Hamburg. CEN will be resuming CliSAP's research activities starting in 2017.
