CRG Terrestrial Remote Sensing (2009-2014)

The research of the CliSAP research group (CRG) 'Terrestrial Remote Sensing' is focused on the application of remote sensing techniques at the global scale. Satellite remote sensing data is used to observe near surface climate variability and dynamics. New techniques are developed to derive longterm consistent observations of near surface climate. The datasets generated by the research group are used for climate studies as well as climate model evaluations.
