This year's SIAM Conference on Mathematical and Computational Issues in the Geosciences (SIAM GS17) takes place in Erlangen Germany. Co-Chair of this renowned meeting is Jörn Behrens, together with Katherine Evans (Oak Ridge National Lab, USA), Rainer Helmig (University Stuttgart, Germany), and Peter Knabner (University Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany).

Approximately 500+ participants will discuss the latest findings in mathematical methods for simulation, uncertainty assessment, and other computational issues in geoscientifc application field.
