On December 8th and 9th, the DKRZ will host a one and a half day visualization workshop based on the software ParaView. The workshop takes place in the seminar room 006 in Grindelberg 5, and starts on both days at 9 o'clock. On the first day we will work till around 4:30pm, while on the second day the course only takes lasts till around 2pm. ParaView is a free available 3D visualization software that is used by many scientists for a large variety of different visualization and data analysis tasks. It reads several variations of netCDF data, including ICON, and can be used for an efficient and efficient 3D data visualization using commonly know visualization methods, as well as by using more advanced data analysis techniques.
