Thesis subjects

Carbon, water and energy fluxes of temperate bog ecosystem in NW-Germany and southernmost Patagonia, Argentina

Research interests

David works in a highly degraded, currently restored bog in NW-Germany (Himmelmoor) and in pristine mires in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina. He applies the Eddy Covariance technique to quantify the impact of land use change on the climate change mitigating potential of peatlands.
