Guests at CliSAP

We like to welcome Dr. Yan Li (National Marine Date and Information Service, Tianjin, China). She will stay at the German Meteorological Service in Hamburg until November 5, 2016. She got a PhD in Meteorology in 2010. Currently she focusses on the research of regional oceanic climate change and ocean-air interaction. The main aspects are: 1) Homogenization of oceanographic and meteorological time series. 2) The climatic variability’s of the China Seas. 3) The assessment of sea level rise effects along Chinas coast.


Wladimir Peter Köppen Award for excellent dissertation in climate and earth system research:
Supervisors and professors can nominate doctoral dissertations of talented young researchers who have completed their doctorate in a German-speaking country.
