“Climate science is an extremely complex, multifaceted field, developing fast and changing constantly. Being a climate expert means being ready to absorb and critically process new knowledge coming from different disciplines and learning to be creative in this activity. CliSAP provides a stimulating academic environment, where it is possible to benefit from the interaction of colleagues from many different disciplines from both inside and outside the university. It is a special place to do science and gives the almost unique opportunity to interact in a truly interdisciplinary fashion with extremely talented colleagues.”

Prof. Dr. Valerio Lucarini, Institute of Meteorology, Universität Hamburg and SICSS lecturer
