Authors workshop on a book on "Climate change from the audience and online user perspective"

02.02.2017 - 03.02.2017

After six years of research in the DFG project "climate change from the audience perspective" under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Irene Neverla, participating researchers will publish a book on its most crucial findings. The book will give a comprehensive overview on the question, which and how (media) experiences effect the public perception of climate change, and how people communicate and inform themselves about the topic. It presents results from panel surveys, interviews, group discussions and a huge online content analysis of journalistic articles, scientific blogs, reader comments and social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook. The book is edited by Prof. Dr. Irene Neverla, Prof. Dr. Monika Taddicken, Dr. Imke Hoppe and Ines Lörcher and will be released in April 2017 at Springer Fachmedien.

The workshop allows the participating authors to work jointly on the manuscripts and to discuss the overarching and sustainable findings of the project and is financed by CliSAP.
